Located in the heart of Waterfield Plaza, our cafe is a haven of relaxation, perfectly nestled between beautiful local artwork and the cozy Liberty Bookstore. As you step inside, you're greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the inviting ambiance that makes our cafe a favorite spot for both locals and visitors alike. After sitting at the espresso bar for a chat, shop at one of the many boutiques of the plaza!

Formally known as the beloved Monte Cristo, our cafe carries forward a legacy of excellent service and a passion for our small town. We are the only café in Roanoke to brew our coffee exclusively with delicious Illy beans from Italy. Our La Marzocco machine—also handcrafted in Florence, Italy—ensures that every cup delivers nothing less than the finest quality.

You can rent one of our executive conference rooms upstairs, or even the Liberty Bookstore, for business meetings, work collaborations, podcasts, small events, etc. Enjoy the best coffee and the best service with friends, family, and colleagues!
